Docent is a platform that helps you learn, explore, and discuss art.
I started Docent to pursue an urgent and personal mission to make art more accessible. What began as a simple tool to log museum visits has grown into a cross-platform experience connecting you to 65+ venues worldwide. Today, you can discover up-to-date exhibitions, share reviews with friends, and organize groups to visit museums together!
At Docent, we are dedicated to making museum experiences more meaningful and engaging. Whether it sparks a conversation with a friend or leaves you with a new perspective, Docent is your tool to explore art alongside a community that is curious, thoughtful, and engaged.

Our Team
Sky
Founder
Sky is the founder of Docent. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science and Art, Film, and Visual Studies from Harvard and is now based in San Francisco. Beyond Docent, Sky is a painter and a cinephile.
Evelyn
UX
Evelyn works on UX at Docent. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science and East Asian Studies from Harvard. She is a New York native and has warm memories of visiting the MoMA and the Met throughout childhood. Outside of work, she enjoys photography.
Anna
UX
Anna works on UX at Docent. She is born and raised in Los Angeles and studied Computer Science at USC. At the moment, her favorite museum experience is the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Seo
Marketing & Analytics
Seo, Texas native and currently living in New York, works on marketing and analytics at Docent. When away from work, she makes functional pottery. Her most visited museum is the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum.
